TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.
Once we have kids, we're probably not going to move (much). I moved a lot as a kid.
And as much as I love Seattle... if someone gave me the chance to live in Manhattan for the rest of my life in some swank condo on Columbus Circle? I'd be there in a heartbeat. :P
I did move away for school and thought about staying on east coast, but came home. DH is from east coast and likes it here but of course would like to live there too. So, we talk about it...as well as CA or Hawaii. But, it'd be hard b/c I have a business here, all my fam here, and love it here. I think more likely we'd get a second home/condo some day if we can afford it or once we've retired or semi-retired. Too bad the east coast isn't a sunny place to escape to.
ETA: Actually DH is obsessed lately with the idea of moving to another country someday. I think that's very unlikely, but maybe someday... Any major moves would probably be after our kids are grown. But, then I'd still want a home base here. Guess we better be rich!

I want desperately to live in Manhattan, at least for a few years. I know i've pretty much missed the ideal window for that, but i still really want to.
I'd come back to the PNW, though.

Ditto CD - this summer SUCKED! In fact, I don't know if I would even consider it as a summer!

Is this your first year? Winters can be rough and this summer was less summer-y than normal. DH had trouble adjusting at first and still doesn't love the rainy season, but he's adjusted and overall likes it. He's been here 5 years; I don't remember how long it took him to adjust. After living on east coast 3 years, it took me a while to adjust back too.

Yes, this is my first year. I just moved here in May. I enjoyed the summer, mostly because I didn't have to deal with the super high temps of the east coast. I grew up in FL and moved to NC a few years ago. The winters there are pretty mild, similar to what I've heard here is like, but I was diagnosed with seasonal affective disorder within 3 years of living there. I take vitamin D, spend lots of time outside when I can (which is pretty often), and have used a sunlamp in the past (which didn't help me). I've even tried seasonal antidepressants, which I reacted badly to. I wish it was a simple matter of adjusting to new weather patterns - I'm about as easygoing as they come.
