Who said to see Drive- Meggers?

I kept my eyes closed through half the movie and even had to cover my ears at some parts! It was a bit to overly violent for me. I get what you meant about the story being different, but I couldn't handle the violence. DH liked it though.

  • Yup that was me. Sorry lol I'll put a better warning on it next time. I definitely looked away from the screen several times, but I thought it was great.

  • ah okay, we were going to go see it too, but I'm not a big fan of violent movies. Does the violence seem integral to the plot or are they just being overly graphic?

BTW, Meggers, I love that your siggy says you are tarting it up! ha!

Haha thanks. I thought I'd represent the tarts out there.

It's not an overly violent film. I'd say there are maybe 3 or 4 instances when I winced a little, because it wasn't expected, but it's over pretty quick. It's not gratuitous.

It's not gory, horror movie stuff, but it is a tad...disturbing maybe. I think the movie is definitely still worth a watch though.

  • It was a part of the movie that they can't take out. The story is good. I just don't do well with 1:1 cruel violence. War situations and accidents in movies I can handle, I just don't particularly like this kind of violence.
