I need your help

We are getting closer to moving to Chandler.  Someone on here said something about renting a house.  What would be the best way about finding one for a decent price.  Like less than $700 a month, in a safe neighborhood. Should I go with a relator, try finding classifieds online? Also could someone reference me to a good relator? Thanks.

Re: I need your help

  • We rented out our rental property through Craigslist, my Mom and most of my friends with rental properties do the same.  Just know the area/neighborhood prior to looking at the property, have verbal conversations with the owners/leasing company, and make sure you're comfortable with it- if it seems too good to be true it probably is.  Good luck!

  • I agree with Craigslist.  We found our place on rentals.com, so you may want to check that out too.

  • We found ours on Zillow.com

  • Not to be a buzzkill, but finding a 2BR apt in Chandler for $700/month in a good neighborhood is already going to be a bit of a challenge, but a house would probably be even more difficult.  In this economy there are people who may be desperate to rent at a lower rate, but you probably won't find them through a rental service (possibly through Craigslist since they'll want to avoid any commission fees).  I'd guess that you'd probably pay about $1000/month for a house in a decent area of Chandler.

I live in Chandler though and love it.  Good luck to you!
