Hello all,
I am not new to upstate NY, as I grew up and went to college outside of Rochester, but my husband and I moved recently to Ithaca, NY in July (from Albany) and we are really loving the area! My name is Carolyn and I was wondering if anyone else is from the Ithaca area. I find myself in that awkward stage of easily being able to meet people at college and having kids. My husband and I are both 26, and he works a lot, so I find myself with a lot of time to myself. I love to be outdoors doing things like hiking, kayaking, or just hanging out by the lake. I also am a wee bit obsessed with food (eating, making, reading about it, thinking about...) and love to go out to eat and entertain. I just thought I would introduce myself and see if there are any other Ithacans out there! (Upstate, NY is a bit of a broad category...I love how your choices are NYC or "Upstate" : )
Thanks!
Carolyn

Yep! Glenora. It was gorgeous! I am not very familiar with Canandaigua or Sonnenberg Mansion, but I might check it out on our next wine tour. It looks very pretty
