Re: Tell Us Tuesday
I was a pretty good kid. I played a lot of sports. I was always active. I have two brothers, so I was a pretty big tom-boy.
As a teenager, I was pretty much a goody-too-shoes. My parents were lucky to have me as a teenager...
My little brother proved to be much more of a handful...

child-short, teenager-taller
just had to be funny w/you today!
I was a tom-boy, I would play w/Barbie dolls one second, and the next it would be Matchbox cars (which I still have). Of course I was into sports, my summer nights were spent watching the Tigers on tv.
As a teenage, probably the same (minus the Barbie & Matchbox playing). Played sports, sang in choir. That's all....wow, that sounds boring if that's all i did....
As a child I was very imaginative - I was always playing some make-believe game. I cried a lot. I was super sensitive. I really liked to play outside.
As a teenager, I was realy shy. Loved to go for walks and work on my garden. I liked to dance - I was really good at tap. I spent a lot of time at home IMing with my good friend who is now my DH
I suppose I should play at my own game, now shouldn't I?
I would say I've always been a girly girl. I never liked getting dirty or messing up my clothes. I liked dollhouses and Barbies, and I swear I played with dolls until I was about 13 years old. Judge if you must. I've always been pretty outgoing and friendly, but only to a certain extent. I don't necessarily walk into a room full of strangers and start "working the room", but I was always "the funny one" or "the goofball" in my group of friends. I always did well in school, although I wouldn't say that I really enjoyed school.
As a teenager, I was involved in band and a few clubs/groups. I had a pretty small circle of close friends but that was fine by me. I didn't really date much in Highschool and in retrospect I think I must have lacked self esteem, even though I didn't really feel like I did at the time. lol. I pretty much have a "people can suck it" attitude now in terms of my self-esteem. haha!
Me too
Tell it to someone who hasn't met you at a gtg!
As a kid I was quiet but active. I LOVED roller skating. I was always doing something like playing on the swingset, walking on stilts, pogo ball, jump rope, riding my bike, etc... I used to love hanging with my old neighbor in the park with her metal detector (maybe I was a nerd)!!!
As a teenager I was almost EXACTLY like Ritzy described herself.
When I was a child, I was very quiet and shy. I believe I only had 2 close friends and I really enjoyed riding my bike up and down my street. I pretended my bike was a car and I attached a radio to the front basket. I remember playing with Barbies, 90210 Barbies and cabbage patch dolls. I also played with my dolls a little too long. In fact, I think my friends started making fun of me for still playing with them.
My teenage years were weird. I was still pretty shy and kept to my close friends. However, the older I got and the more I didn't care what people thought of me and I started becoming more social. I started dating my high school bf when I was 16 or 17 and stayed with him until I was 21. I never got in trouble and was always afraid to get caught when I did do something. Now that I think of it, my parents should thank me every day for not being a pain!!
As a child I was also very quite and shy, around everyone. I hated being away from home, I would cry when I was left to spend the night at my Aunt's house or even a friend who lived just around the corner. I remember being so torn because I wanted to stay the night at these places, but at the same time I was scared, for whatever reason. I was also a pretty big tomboy, but at the same time, I was a girly gir, depended on the situation really.
As a teenager, I was every mother's worst nightmare. I was sassy and rebellious. I stretched the rule, broke the rule. You name it, I probably did it my teenage years. My mother and I did not get along my teenage years, it was WWIII between us, ALL THE TIME.
But I got it all out of my system as a teenager, and I am now a perfectly well rounded adult. And my mother and I get along great now.
Child: I was very pretty social. I loved to play office and school with my grandma when I would go visit her. I also had a cabbage patch big wheel that I was in love with.
Teenager: I was really shy. I spent a lot of time with a couple of close friends. I was in the choir and loved that. I also dated a 22 year old when I was 17. He ended up being terrible but without him I never would have met DH so he served his purpose in life I suppose.
90210 was my life from about the age of 10 till 15 haha. I only had the Brenda Doll though my mom never bought me any of the others but she did get me a subscription to 90210 Magazine lol. That is so embarrassing in retrospect haha.
I was a loving but sometimes bratty kid. I was good for the most part but since I was the baby girl, I was spoiled a lot and that went to my head sometimes.
As a teenager, I was a brooding, angsty, grungy nerd. I was really good at school and was friends with lots of people from all different walks of life. I dressed in mostly black clothing, wore combat boots and had a chain wallet. Yep, that was me. Oh well, how the tables have turned!
I think we need pictures of this!

Well this is a picture that one of my high school friends tagged me in on FB recently. We were a punk rock sort of crowd. I'm the one in the bottom right with the NIN shirt on....hahahaha:
lol....I don't know what you're talking about.

That's too funny Christine! I never would have pictured you as a "brooding, angsty, grungy" teenager!
