5 year wedding anniversary
Our 5 year anniversary is in 1 month and I am at a loss for what to get DH. I have a list of "stuff" he wants, and I'll get him 1 or 2 things off the list, but I would love to get him something meaningful. I know it's sort of hard to suggest things that would be meaningful to us, but has anyone done anything totally awsome that they'd like to share, maybe to get some ideas going?
Re: 5 year wedding anniversary
Is it in your budget to go away for a weekend/overnight? A romantic dinner somewhere? A cool cooking class? Concert? Day trip?
DH and I celebrate our anniversary with experiences instead of gifts. We did bigger gifts the first year, but after that we decided we'd rather do something special together and treat ourselves. We try to give something small to each other and a card. The card is mandatory
Last year I got DH a photo from the when the Phils won the WS (we got married the day of the parade in 08). He bought me flowers and a pound of bacon to make breakfast, haha. He totally forgot that we had reservations for a fancy brunch. Sooooooo, we might not be the bext example.....
