The minute I walked into work this morning a coworker in another city crapped all over my day by not following the workflow, trying to throw my team under the bus, and making more work for us all.

Yes - I can certainly relate to being busy HD.  This is the main reason why (IMO) that people think I look tired.  It's because I AM.  I always have a list of things to do, places to go, etc.  Thankfully after the first few weeks of school it's calmed down a little.  No more open houses and whatnot to attend at night.

My whine is about my PhD work.  I emailed a professor at the college I've been taking summer courses and asked about an online program called SEO.  I asked if the program would count towards a future PhD program.  She assured me that it would.  So I signed up.  Well I just went over the weekend to meet my advisor. She told me that SOME of the coursework would transfer in but most wouldn't and that I would have to attend classes in order for them to count, not just online classes.  So now I just spent money to apply to a program that I can't use AND I'm paying for course that will probably not count towards my PhD.  UGH!  I'm hoping to get good news from another university that's local and start a program there instead.  Sigh.

My knee is killing me. Lots of pain and I really should be home today but have a huge meeting I have to present at so I'm here instead. ::sigh::

I have another whine to add that just happened at the school I travel to.  A student drew a middle finger and said "FU Mrs. My last name" and also wrote on the same piece of paper "Mrs. My last name is a (male body part)."  When I saw it I tried to take the paper (which was a worksheet I just passed out) and he ripped it and tried to destoy the evidence.  I sent him to the principal but apparently he didn't go and was caught roaming the halls.  I don't know what they are going to do to him.  I hope he gets some sort of punishment - detention or suspension - because that was mean.  I've never had anything like that happen in class before.

Not only did I pay an application fee, then I had to pay an entrance fee on top of tuition and registration frees.  Not to mention the fact that I had to pay extra fees because I paid my bill online.  I'm SO done with ALL of this!  Looking into local programs tomorrow.  I'm really ticked off to be spending all this money and won't probably get credit for it.
