I am ashamed to say I have never seen The Road to Avonlea....until tonight. I happened to catch it on the BYUtv channel tonight. OMG! I kept expecting to see Ann, Gilbert, and Murilla come out of the houses. I didn't know that it had some of the same cast either. 

Anyway, I was thinking about you all the time. If this wasn't the 21 century, I would be all about the dresses and puffed sleeves.

Oh are they showing Road to Avonlea now? Marilla and Rachel Lynde are in some episodes (Rachel more than Marilla because Colleen Dewhurst died during the 3rd season). Even Gilbert makes one appearance in season 3. There are 7 seasons. I highly recommend it. You can watch some episodes on You Tube.

The children by the end of the show are grown up, by the way. You will recognize other actors from the Anne movies, too.

Oh, I think this is what you saw. Hopefully, the channel will air the whole show, not just that "movie." The full series originally aired on the Disney Channel and was rerun on Hallmark Channel a few years ago.
