Yesterday was the longest day ever. I had parent teacher conferences, and I had 3 total parents show up. Neither of those parents were parents who said they would be there. Jerks.
Also while one of my co-teaching relationships keeps getting better and better the other just keeps sucking. I don't even know what to do with her anymore.
Anyway, tonight I'm looking forward to playing with Myles, and having 2 tired pups on my hands as Poppins is sleeping over until Monday.

Re: Morning
Good morning!
I was really hoping to get to bed a little early last night, but that didn't happen. I sat down on the couch to read my cosmo for a few minutes before going to bed and a friend of mine called. I debated answering the phone to be honest, but ended up answering. I love her to death, but she talks FOREVER! I finally told her after an hour and a half I had to go to bed. So I am hoping for an earlier night tonight.
Today should be pretty good day at work not boring but not busy either. I have some errands to run on my lunch break fingers crossed its not raining then. I am trying a new recipe in the crockpot tonight. I put it all in this morning and cut it on. I am not sure about it so it might be a sandwich night...
Morning!
I'm about ready to kill the big cat right about now. She decided that 2am was a wonderful time to wake us up. Last night was the first time in about forever that we've had to lock her out of our room. We're trying to decrease the amount of food they get, as she's getting a little tubby, but it is not going well.
Tonight, soup!
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
Good morning! It is a gloomy, gloomy day in D.C., but that's okay. The day is going to be busy with meetings and farewell lunches (a coworker who helped hire me is leaving) and writing, so it should pass by quickly.
Last night we did go to the gym, but not before slacking off a bit. We had a quick egg sandwich dinner, and then went to bed. And can I just say again that our new bed rocks? The old one was starting to give me aches and pains, especially after a run, but I slept like a baby last night. So happy we went for it. But that leaves us to get rid of our oldest bed, and scheduling a bulk pick-up has been hell since our condo office isn't responding to our calls or emails. We need to get the extra stuff out of the guest bedroom since my sister visits next week.
H is getting home late, so I'm on my own for a while. I'm going to the condo office to harass them since they're open late. Then I'm having sweet potato gnocchi for dinner (if I find a sauce recipe for it, that is).
Good morning!
Sweet potato gnocchi? Do you make this or buy this pre-made? I am intrigued.
I went to bed early last night because my neck and head were hurting and I managed to get a good nights sleep. I have the later shift today so I've already gone for my run and I'm just getting ready to go in. I think I'm on call tonight and I hope it's uneventful since my last on call last Thursdsay was pretty busy (8 calls).
DH is making fish and potato wedges tonight. Yum

Morning ladies.
Lastnight I watched some True Blood on Netflix. I wanted to go to bed early, but between DH snoring next to me, and my neighbors 2 beagles howling/barking for 2 hours nonstop, I didn't get to sleep until around 11:30. Then to top it off Christian decided that 4:00 a.m. was a great time for play time. I ended up bringing him to our bed, and when my alarm went of at 5:30, he was asleep between DH and I with his feet in our faces, and his head down by DH's feet. Needless to say I am looking forward to hitting my bed tonight.
Otherwise, busy day at work.
Have a great day ladies.
Buenos Dias!
This morning I didn't feel like getting up. I went to bed late last night trying to catch up on some reading for one of my classes. On the bright side I feel more confident about this specific class.
Today we be an easy day, I only have two classes to attend and work only in the morning. I can't wait to get home tonight though and make some beef stew. The weather has been gloomy since Monday so the stew will hit the spot.
Have a good day ladies!
Good morning! It's Wednesday today, which means I'm in class until late tonight. I'm exhausted and cranky and one of the spec ed kids keeps asking me what's wrong with my hair. BAH.

For some reason I have stuck in my head that a gorgonzola sauce would be awesome. I have no idea why. That, or just butter.
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
Chica, my favorite sauce for sweet potato gnocchi is just browned butter with some fresh sage or rosemary, a tiny bit of minced garlic, and some fresh cracked pepper.
H arrived home this morning around 3:15am. We haven't seen each other in nearly a week so we were...uhhh, catching up....until about 4:30 this morning. Lol. I am tired today.
I am also really congested this morning, but hoping things clear up so I can go to yoga tonight. Something tells me downward facing dog with nasal congestion is not going to be pleasant.
Hope everyone has a good day!
Raynes, I hear you about the dieting cat. Mies has gained some wieght, so we cut back on his food. The past two mornings we've woken up to bags of treats ripped open in the middle of the floor. And when I say treats, I mean dog treats in which he's never before shown an interest.
I'm so glad it's Wednesday. My week has been stressful and long. I worked past 10PM both Monday and yesterday, and I fear today may be the same thing. On a happier note, I have a networking lunch today, with a guy B is introducing me to.
Morning. I've been frustrated with my IT staff lately. At my previous position I had full administrator privileges. Now I have nothing. Yesterday I tried to delete a shortcut from my desktop that led to a broken Firefox (it won't open since our most recent "upgrade") and I can't even do that. Today they're upgrading a program for me and I have to be logged off for an hour. I asked if I could just do that over my lunch hour or at the end of the day. Nope. So I'll be taking a really early lunch today, as there isn't really much to do in my office without being logged in to a computer. Had I known, I would have brought a book or something.
Tonight I'm planning on moving all of the furniture out of our dining room. We're planning on putting new flooring in there in the near future and want to tear up the current, stinky carpet ASAP.
Yesterday was the longest day ever. See my blog for an account of my 2 hour and 45 minute commute home.
I am seriously hanging on by a thread here, just trying to make it until after this event on Saturday. Really, it doesn't get much easier after that, but I feel like this weight will be off of me and I can deal with the rest of it.

I was thinking beurre blanc. I don't like gorgonzola.

Good morning, ladies.
I'm still so sleepy, even though we went to bed early last night. I just want a nap - maybe I'll close my door at lunch and sneak 30 minutes. I just want to go home.
Have a great day, everyone!
Thanks for the sauce input, all! Not sure what I'll decide on, but everything sounds good.
rxbeth, this gnocchi's pre-made; our local co-op stocks it so I decided to give it a try!
P.S. Reba, that sounds like the commute from hell. I feel like there have been a lot of people on the tracks this year. So sad.
Morning ladies!
Reba - I read your blog..ugh, I can't imagine. Since it sounds like he lived, do they charge him with anything?
Not much going on today. I was excited thinking my hair appointment was today, but it's tomorrow. Guess that gives me another day to go back and forth on color.
I don't know, but if I hear anything, I'll report back.

I'm home today for a mental health day. LO has been started with this teething thing, and then DH decided to have a total breakdown at 4am, thinking he broke the baby. I think DH is just exhausted and needed to get it out. I felt so bad, but there didn't seem to be anything I could do, short of get him in to bed and call the doc this morning. Essentially, DH picked up LO and thought he felt something pop or shift in LO's chest. I think it was just the usual baby bones shifting and such, but it totally freaked him out. LO wasn't even crying or anything, so who knows.
I'm exhausted, so just lounging around the house. Bonus: DH took the bub to work with him today so I have the house to myself, except for the dogs. I'm going to enjoy the crap out of my day and try to get to bed at a decent hour tonight to deal with whatever tonight or tomorrow morning might bring.
Good morning ladies. Last night was pretty laid back. I hung out at my parents for a bit and had dinner over there since a bunch of my family came over. Then I just did some catching up on the DVR for a bit.
Today I'm leaving work early. I have an ingrown toenail that I think may be infected so I have a doctors appointment this afternoon. I know they'll likely remove it and how vain is it that all I can think is I'm supposed to wear open toed shoes to LO's baptism in a few weeks and my toe is going to look funky. Oh well. I'll take it easy the rest of the day since I don't know what to expect pain wise.
Hope everyone has a great day.
Hello ladies.
I am working from home today, started my "new job" this week. I am working for DH part time so since I still have no baby I am getting some stuff done.
I have been having contractions but nothing promising yet. Hoping he comes soon! I am convinced now that his carpet is installed, the room is painted and we will start arranging artwork and furniture he may decide to make his appearance.
Have a great day ladies!
Hi Ladies!
Last night DH had a softball game, so I spent the evening catching up on the DVR, and crawling into bed around 9:30.
The kids have been crazy this week. I have had to break up 2 fights so far this week. I can't wait for the weekend.
Crazy day...It started with Sadie peeing all over the floor with blood. Ed was able to stay home and take her to the vet and $260 later she has a bad UTI and antibiotics...
The rest of my day was better...crazy because I ended up teaching an extra class today, but everything was fine.
