Shipping baked goods?

How does this work? I assume anything that needs to be refrigerated is out of the question but what is the best way to ship something like cookies? I want to send something to one of my coworkers but I've never done it before.

Re: Shipping baked goods?

  • Just make sure your container is air-tight for freshness, and well insulated from damage (bubble wrap, air pillows, etc), and you should be good to go.

  • P. S. From shipping many goodie packages to DH when he was deployed, I learned that if you add a slice of bread to any baked goods you want to stay moist/soft, it will do the trick. The goodies will soak the moisture from the bread, and arrive in super soft condition.
