Re: Random click poll about clothes

  • It all depends on the day. I work in clinical research within a hospital. If I am seeing patients or have do work on the hospital side I wear business casual or dress busines, if I am in the lab I wear scrubs and if I am in the research building all day I can wear jeans and a hospital logo Tee.

  • I can wear pretty much anything unless a candidate is coming into the office.  Then I'm in business casual.  I usually wear buz cas everyday though, except Friday or when my boss is out of the office. Then it's jeans all the way!

  • I usually wear suits but sometimes I'm just business casual.  If I have a client meeting I always wear a suit.

  • SS - I don't have a job right now so it's whatever I put on. At home who cares? When I go out, even just to the store, jeans and a nice top.
  • Slacks and a button-down shirt, maybe with a cardigan or v-neck sweater over it, are the norm here...I'm the only one wearing a suit jacket (better to be over-dressed than under when I'm still new, plus the office is frigid!).  Fridays are jeans with a button-down shirt.
  • Business casual (dress slacks and nice tops) during the week and we have jean-Friday's...love it!

I'm wearing jeans today because we're having a tailgate in honor of the Michigan State vs. U of Mich game this weekend. I get to wear jeans tomorrow because it's a "Record's Cleaning Day" and Friday is always jeans day! Love it.

  • SS  - They just started casual at work this summer.  I love it but can't wear anything ripped, torn, worn out, sweats, etc.  Still need to look professional.

  • I'm in between, I'd definitely not be able to wear PJs haha but if I come in wearing jeans flip flops and a hoody it's no big deal. For a while we had to instate a dress code because we had a new employee wearing dirty old flip flops, a ratty worn out sweatshirt and short shorts. Or skimpy tank tops. Soon as she left we got rid of the dress code though haha
  • I said that I could wear pajamas and no one would care in my office. BUT if I have a meeting in the main building, I have a uniform polo and jeans I wear.

I have a CW that wore a t-shirt that said "I bite on the first date" last week.

  • I have to wear olive green scrubs every day. they are awful!
  • I have to wear blue scrubs every day and if I don't wear the top with my name embroidered on it (I hate strangers calling me by my name) then I have to wear a T-shirt with the company name on it. I have ones in short sleeve and long and a few different colors so I usually go with that.

  • I work for myself so it's usually pjs for the morning then jeans in the afternoon. When I meet clients I go for the dressy jean look, then obviously when I'm shooting weddings, it's all black.
  • Uniform here.. Granted, it is not employer issued so it can vary from person to person and day to day as to what we wear - but we have have to have a certain color top and bottom.
