Chair pads; what would you use?
I finally decided to make new chair pads for the stools at my kitchen counter! (The window treatment has been up for about a year
)
So, in my attempt to make them a little different, I decided to "tuft" them but I don't want to use buttons (unless I have to). I was thinking of tying them. What would you use? Bonus for pics!!

Re: Chair pads; what would you use?
Are there seams along the points where you want to tuft them? I've seen buttonless turfting done where they've grabbed onto the seam allowance in the back of the piece of fabric. This is often done at corners with 4 pieces of cloth coming together (often for leather furniture). It makes the seams stand out and the tufting is very subtle.
Otherwise tying them would work as well. Good luck!
