Getting an iphone for the first time, what are some good apps??

Hey Girls,

After years of a lame, regular cell phone, my husband and I are getting iphones!! What are some cool apps you would recomend? I have no idea where to start and am so excited, I want to get a headstart!!

Most banks have an app now, if so, they are usually awesome. My bank allows me to even deposit my checks with my phone.

The MapQuest app is free and it works wonderfully for me. I, too, am not great at directions.

Oh, I just thought of this, are there any good workout apps? Or apps that let you make your own ringtones from songs you have downloaded on the phone? And what is the name of that app that you scan those weird scanner codes?
