by a sort of sad circumstance, I've received a fantastic promotion and raise today. truthfully, my joy is outweighing the issues that made this possible, no matter how selfish that might be.
i've worked hard for this - it is huge for my career - and i am so excited about the money!!!! lol!
i will be online shopping tonight for sure 
i was hemming and hawing over a few things, and i think i will just treat me and the girls to them, and i'll ask dh what he might like too - his support has been invaluable!
