Take care of your teeth extra special. I just had my routine 6 month cleaning and it was with a new hygenist. (My lady for the last 8 years is gone...sad face). This lady was not.impressed with my "tartar". She must have used that word 20 times. I definately slacked on my flossing during my 1st tri bc of nausea, but I thought my hygeine was still pretty right on for me and I've never had "tartar" complaints from my old hygenist ...ugh, such an ugly word. When the Dr came in afterwards he said pregnancy hormones tend to be destructive to your teeth (which I've read about but he made me feel like less of a gross freak) but now I don't want to go there for cleanings anymore and I need to find a new hygenist because she was mean. Boo. I'm glad the problem is resolved and now I'm feeling slightly obsessive about massaging my gums and flossing.
Re: PSA for PG ladies
Jen she was awful. She was doing my molars and she said "tsk, weren't you just here 6 months ago?". I had tears coming from my eyes bc it was just stressful. We drive from Tampa to Orlando to go there, humph.
