There hasn't been much traffic on here so I thought I would make a post so that we can let each other know what is happening.
Re: KY Nestie Check in
We have our house and have been living here a month or so. We are still working on getting the kitchen cabinets refinished. Because of some complications we still need to paint the guest room, but are starting to get settled in now.
Our greeting everyday at the beach. My two boys.

We've been trying to get it going again.
Thanks. It is nice to finally have my own place
What have you been up to lately?
I check in and post here occasionally.
Congrats on the house! It sounds like a lot of work, but I'm sure it will pay off.
There's nothing really new with me, just been enjoying this fall weather. The leaves around here have been gorgeous and we've been hiking in a new area in central or eastern KY every week. It's been fun to get out and enjoy the scenery while the weather is still nice.
We're in Maysville (NE KY) for a family reunion for the weekend. Our October is always so busy. Well, Fall in general and then the holidays hit!
Otherwise, I'm just plugging away with work and school.
My Bio
Hi everyone, nice to see you all again!
Another checkin from me: Since we are working little by little on things after work and classes and such, it is taking a long time. Hoping to get cabinets stained next weekend as long as the rain holds off. I also have to say that it is very weird to be writing and editing papers again. I kind of like it.
