Do you have 10 digits in your phone number?

We only have 9 here, and every time I try to update my address for stuff in the US, I get an error, even though I have clicked that I live outside the US.  "10 digit phone number is required." Sorry, I don't have a 10 digit number, but I will gladly make one up for you (actually I just add a 1 to the front of it).

Yes I have 10 digits but you actually only dial 9 digits. You drop the first zero when dialing since it's a mobile number. Weird huh.

 I always get frustrated with putting international phone numbers and addresses into websites because it just never works out very well.

We do have 10 digits but our area code is two digits and the number itself is 8. The first digit is a zero though and some programs drop that zero which makes things pretty frustrating for me too.

I've had a skype local US number for a few years now. I thought it was much easier than explaining to family and friends how to dial internationally. It's really convenient.

Ditto with the US Skype number, it forwards to DH's Belgian cell. We wanted a USA number so family could still call us easily if needed.

My Belgian cell is 11 digits.
