Race for the Cure

Are any of you doing it this Saturday? I'm going with some girls from work and we're all pushing our LO's, running and walking. I've never done it before, so I'm pretty pumped!

Fun! I was planning on doing it, but then I got crazy sick with a cold and then upper respiratory infection. So unfortunately, I haven't been able to train for it. I'm disappointed--I was looking forward to this one.

I am! When my two friends and I started C25K in the spring, this race was our goal. We were going to make matching shirts and stuff. But they both ditched me. One started the HCG diet a few weeks ago and since the diet requires you to pretty much starve yourself, she had to quit running. Luckily, she quit the diet but she hasn't trained for the race. The other friend has to work. Oh well, I'm still pretty excited about it!
