Childcare at the YMCA?

I want to get back to taking classes at the Y because exercising with the baby when DH is never home is so freaking hard. And also, I need to get out of the house at least once daily so I don't go nuts. 

I called the Y and the childcare there is free when you workout for kids 6 weeks - 11 years. Has anyone used the Y's childcare? Any problems? I'm not really paranoid or anything, I trust the Y, but since it's free with the membership, I just want to make sure it's not a bunch of inept babysitters.

I have worked the Kids Zone at the Y before. They allow you 2 hours to workout. I think that if your child needs diaper changing, then they will get you. I can't be for sure on that one. If you go to a larger Y, I worked at Williams (Mandarin), the children are separated by age groups. A smaller Y may just have one room.

Williams is my Y! I will definitely go ask them to do a little tour before I join back up but that sounds very reassuring. Thanks!

We go to the Y in Mandarin too and have been using the childcare since Penelope was 3 months. They have actually changed diapers for me and I've never had a problem with anything there.
