XP from bump: Activities for SAHMs-northshore
I live 8 miles north of Boston and am considering SAH. How did you find playgroups and activities in the area ? Any reccs? I am curious what is out there.

I'm not in the area, I'm about 20 miles south of Boston, but I SAH...
Check out meetup.com for mom groups. LittleGym/MyGym does weekly classes for every age group, where you can get out with LO as well as meet other moms. Many local libraries do a "Mother Goose on the Loose" (which is free!) for babies up to 24mo.
