NSOR--stressing about job interview
Had my second interview yesterday. Met with someone who would be my peer and then 3 people that I would be supervising. I think it went fairly well. While walking out I saw the manager in the hallway. She mentioned that she would call me by tomorrow to set up a time for me to meet with her and the other woman I orginally interviewed with. She mentioned wanting to "chat" about how the second interview went.
I just got a call from the HR woman stating that she was going to be out of the office tomorrow and she "didn't want me to worry" and stated that they haven't made a decision yet but that she would be in touch with me either way by mid to late next week. I mentioned what the manager said about a third meeting and asked if they felt it wasn't necessary now. She stated that she didn't know but that the other orginal woman was going to be OOT a lot next week. The position also requires a level of credentialing that I don't current posses but am in the final stages of applying for. The HR woman said they were also looking into this as I don't have a date set to sit for the exam. I reiterated that my app is in final review and I should have an approval letter next week which would allow me to schedule the exam.
So, needless to say. Stressing MAJOR right now. Why are they cancelling the third interview? Do they not feel it necessary because they love me or have they decided to go with someone else who already holds the credentials??? AAHHHH!!!!!!
