hijacking the Thursday post
Happy Thursday!! Almost the weekend. Thank goodness.
Where did you and your H/SO meet?
Weekend plans?
Re: hijacking the Thursday post
Meet: At IU(where I went to school). He was visiting his cousin, who I knew at the time. Love at first sight, sappy, blah blah.
Weekend: Parents coming to visit!! They're meeting our dog for the first time. They are bringing their 2 (much smaller) dogs. Will be an interesting full house for the weekend.
We met at the mall, oddly enough. He worked at the store across from the one I worked in.
Weekend plans - covered bridge festival with my parents, getting our pictures back (hopefully), and my great aunt's 90th birthday party.
Hi, Today has been ridiculously busy. Running errands.
I still need to do dishes then make lasagna. I am tired. Tomorrow I need to mail something off. It may wait till Saturday. I am seriously considering staying in Pj's tomorrow.
I met my husband at his first wedding.
Weekend plans? Ummmm....make procupine meatballs. I may do more baking.

Ask me stuff.
DH and I met on a blind date. It lasted about 6 and half hours in St. Joe, Michigan. We did dinner, a movie, drinks, hung out at the beach, and had an awesome time. I miss living up there with him. Our first house was a little bungalow about 8 blocks from the beach. They had huge festivals all summer. We saw REO Speewagon, Better Than Ezra, Foreigner, and many more played that beach.
I'm going to pick up some candy to send to work with DH for Sweetest Day since he has 24 hours of overnights at work. The Holiday is actually to give candy to people that others forget and was started by a Cleveland candy maker to give sweets to those people that are forgotten. I figure the nurses on the night shift will like it! I'm also going to get out my oil pastels and put together my BFF's b-day gift. I owe her a piece of my art since her XH destroyed her first one. I may also check out a movie on my own if I feel the urge to get out or go shop Louisville for fun.
I am divorced and just never left the nest.
Weekend plans: Working my 2nd job, coaching the cheerleaders and getting caught up on grading.
I love St. Joe!! That sounds so fun.
We already moved away and back once. I can see it happening again at some point. We miss it every day. For some reason, it never felt like we were living in a resort town. It was more like scheduling work around a permanent vacation for the locals.
