Whenever you move on from where you're living now, what would you miss?
Sometimes I miss random things from the US, like being able to shop at 8pm; mac & cheese; or meeting friends for Happy Hour. The other day I was thinking, whenever we repatriate - there are probably things I would miss about Belgium too.

Re: What would you miss?
From Belgium I think I would definitely miss the beer - so many different kinds and flavors. Also, access to cheap, delicious French and Italian wines. And I would miss the Grand Place, being able to walk up to the square and meet up with people for dinner - eating outside. From work I would really miss leaving at 3:30pm and still getting paid for 8 hours ;-)
Ok - your turn!

I'm going to miss my BF
Also living in such a small and gorgeous city.
I will miss being able to travel to so many new countries so easily.
I will also miss being able to work from home every day. <-- I will probably miss this part the most!

I'd miss my friends, the sea and beaches, wine and the food, easy travel to other countries.
From Vietnam I miss the lifestyle, travel, my job, amazing food (not just Vietnamese, but the great Indian, Japanese, Italian, Spanish, Malaysian, Chinese and on and on) for cheap, the year round hot weather, shopping and tailoring, riding a motorbike, friends, our house... Man, I miss so much!
From the US, I miss grocery shopping at 10 PM and pay at the pump petrol stations. And the prices of consumer goods.
From France, I miss walking to the markets, being able to get to different countries easily, exploring new little villages in the mountains, really good cheap wine, bread and cheese.
If we ever leave Australia ... I haven't really found anything I'd miss yet.
From the Netherlands Id miss getting to use my new language regularly, ride my bike places, the safety, and the stroopwafels. I would also miss the beautiful terraces that you can eat/drink on and the historical buildings.
Also the ease of travel to other countries.
