I can't wait for 5 o'clock! I get to see my uncles.
Re: Hell yeah, it's Friday
I loooooove days like this!
All suited up and ready for my 5mi run right now... if my marathon (and half) running friends can put up with this on Sunday for WAY longer than my 45min run, I can manage 5. Right?!?
And then I'm spending the day with my sister again.

Yes!
Haha.
I can't wait for 45 minutes to equal 5 miles for me.
This morning I did a walk/run for ~35 mins and went 2.83 miles. Ha.
PS. Not only do I looooove my C25K app, but I loooove my iMapMyRUN app too. I love my iPhone soooooooooooo much.
DH and I are both getting over coughs/colds so we will probably skip Hoptoberfest :-(
His friend is getting married during the marathon on Sunday so hopefully I'll feel better by then.
Yay for uncles and sister visits, and for motivated and dedicated runners!
I'm going to buy light grey paint today and do the rest of our room. I brought paint chips home yesterday, and anguished over 3 different shades of pale grey. Bah.
I would also love for 45 min to equal 5mi for me!
I've been doing intervals lately to work on my speed, make treadmill running more interesting and to pack more workout into less time. I had forgotten how much I like doing intervals.
I have one class at 10 this morning that lets out at noon and then it's westward ho!
I love Fridays.
Diana - are you doing the law school in Lansing or GR?
TGIF!!!!!!!! I have so much to do tonight. Ugh
Amachuta, I was wondering about the wedding marathon connection too.
Wendy, I hope you guys feel better soon. It seems like the gunk going around really takes hold.
Have all of your improvements been making you want to stay?
I think you may have answered this in the past, but if it weren't for GRPS, would you want to stay? Do you have any alternatives for school (like a charter or school of choice)?
Charter, private and school of choice are all available, but I have some strong political views about them. Public, neighborhood schools is what we're after.
I like the changes, but for us to stay here, we'd have to add more space (and at least a 1/2 bath).
Mornin' lovely ladies!
WTG runners. I am jealous. Someday I will start running again. . . someday.
Well last night sweet baby J slept in his crib. (We co-slept/room shared up until this point). He did great. Mama, yeah not so much.
Way to go baby J! It'll get easier for you.

I received my last paycheck today so I get to buy my self something nice/fun. I have no idea what to get. When I have no $ I can think of a lot of things to buy but when I have $$ I just wonder the store in some sort of money induced stupor unable to buy anything. So far I got a pair of winter gloves that work with touchscreen devices and a small purse clutch that fits my iPhone.
Molly - you may want to look into these gloves. I tested them out with my iPhone in the store. There called smarTouch by Isotoner. I found them at Target.
We painted our bedroom Martha Stewart's Sharky Grey (matched ih Behr) and I love it. We also have oak floors and white trim.
They are getting married at mile 10. Then the reception is by the finish line. Kinda crazy but should be fun.
Supe cool. Please tell me she is wearing a dress. Ha.
Cool!
Isn't that where the running group aid station is?

You know some people DO actually make wedding-dress-like tech wear for runners...
I saw it in Runner's World recently.

I do not enjoy T's asthma/allergy/breathing problems.
His allergist has an "Asthma Action Plan" for him. Does that mean they think he has asthma? And do you think if I ask them that question they can answer it without making me feel stupid? Haha. Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Ugh. Ugh.
Sorry. Definitely ask. However, I have heard it is very difficult to diagnosis asthma in little ones (under 2 I think?) So maybe they don't know for sure if he has asthma yet,but maybe they suspect it or are being cautious just in case.
The bolded is probably correct. I know they could hardly do any testing on him given his age, so you are probably right. He'll be 2 in January, so maybe we can start getting to the true bottom of it soon.
