I thought you ladies might enjoy this story--Yesterday I get an email from match.com that says "YourCreepyExHusband is checking you out now!" right before meeting my mom for lunch. Over lunch my mom and I get a laugh at his profile, complete with pictures of the dogs and a few charming paragraphs about his high powered job (yes, he's one of those who filled in $150+ for salary), international living experience, optimistic view on the world and sense of adventure (yeah, right). Mom and I laugh and agree that it's a good profile, albeit a lie, and I block him from contacting me on match.
After lunch my mom goes to the mall and runs into a woman she knows. She's a divorcee and they get to talking about match.com and jdate and woman says she's been talking to some great man online. He's an atty, lived abroad, has 2 dogs, very handsome, etc. Mom asked what his name was and it was ExHusband! My mom quickly updated her on my situation and how just hours earlier we were laughing about how charismatic his profile was.
It's funny how ExHusband getting screwed over (not literally, to his chagrin) without me even TRYING! ![]()
ETA: Did I mention that karma has done a job with him? In the past month he has been very sick (he's fine now), his iPhone broke, and he got rear-ended by a police car!
Re: XP from SO: XH story
Ha! Don't you wish you could warn off all potential matches of his like that?
I think a littl euhmility needs to be employed on dating sites, otherwise it all looks like BS (which in this case, it is).
After I gave the puppy away to another family, he got himself another dog. The man can never be satisfied with what he has, even though he knows a puppy needs someone who isn't working 10 hr days and a boxer puppy deserves a better life than to be crated all day
Ok I now officially dislike this guy even more! I wish there was some way we could get both dogs taken away from him!
My Israel Blog!
That's hilarious!
Karma is a wonderful biitch sometimes!
Chronically hilarious - you'll split your stitches!
I wrote a book! Bucket list CHECK!

Too funny! I wonder how many dates he'd get with that name...
I also find it a bit weird that he would go and look for your profile on match.
