Please allow me to tell you that my repeat C-Section was night and day compared to my first delivery, which was an unplanned CS. I was on the fence for a while about what I wanted to do, because I felt like I had a rough recovery the first time around. This time though, I was up and out of bed within hours, I hardly even needed to take my pain medication, and I just generally felt more "present" for the entire experience. If you have any questions you think I might be able to help you with in regards to that decision, please let me know.
I've been meaning to type up a birth story as well. As soon as I do, I'll let you know so that you can get a little bit better idea of what the repeat CS was like for me.
Thanks Ritzy! I'd love to hear your birth story and I'm so glad your C-section was much easier this time around! DD was breeched, so my CS was planned and the recovery wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. It's just one of those things where it's not how you picture giving birth. But, I would hate to try to do a VBAC this time around and then end up with a CS anyways, because I've heard that's when the recovery is much harder. Decisions, Decisions! At least I have some time to think about it!
