FFF?

I confess that I never wear foundation. I have some on today to test out for the wedding tomorrow, and it feels weird on my skin. Blech!

Re: FFF?

  • I only wear a little foundation mixed with moisturizer under my eyes. Other than that it's just moisturizer/sunscreen. Wearing anything more makes my skin feel disgusting.

I know that most stores practice vanity sizing, but I haven't bought clothes all summer and am down 2 sizes. It makes me ridiculously excited. Now to keep on the eating healthy and working out bandwagon.

  • I wish I didn't have to wear foundation but my skin is terrible. I just can't seem to get it under control bleh.

I think the Loft does the vanity sizing thing big time. I kind of bought the skinny jeans there only b/c one of the small sizes was actually big on me and it made me feel better about myself until I remembered the whole vanity sizing thing.

  • I only wear powder foundation, I can't do the liquid stuff. I hate the hassle of putting it on and how it feels. I guess I'm lucky that I don't have to wear much. I'm so pale that I wear MAC's lightest shade though. :/

I'm bummed that I'm stuck in a weight loss rut. I was doing so well, but for the past 6 months it's been maintaining I guess. I keep gaining and losing the same 5 lbs., not to mention my cycle throws everything off (like gaining/losing 3+ lbs in a single day). My doctor wants to check my thyroid soon, because of the slowed loss and that I'm freezing all the time now. Bleh.

I hate the vanity sizing too. I'm in that gray area of misses/plus. Some things look great on me in a 16 and others require an 18W. Boo! I was so bummed that the Land's End swimsuit that I liked the most was an 18W. I just keep telling myself it's just a number on a tag, but it's still depressing. I've come so far and I'm still a fatty. At this point, I don't think I'll ever reach my goal. :(

  • I don't wear foundation. I hate the stuff. I wear very little make up on a daily basis, just eye shadow, mascara, and maybe some lip tint.
  • While I like my home, I can't wait until we decide to move on. I think my neighborhood is kind of douche-y.
