Help?Vent!

I've been on them Match, POF, etc. I can't stand it. Just have to vent. Guy's are such creeps on them. Where on earth do I find the good guys? Geez!!! I'd like to start dating again and just can't seem to meet a nice guy. Anybody know of any? ... LOL

That's why I have never been a fan of those websites.

 

I found my current BF in my local running group/volunteering.

I am so over all the sites. In a rage after my last experience I deleted my profile and decided to just do my thing and not try to date. What happened a week later? I met a guy randomly at the hospital and he has been the most legit candidate yet.

I didn't have a great experience with them as well.  A few were creeps, but mostly it was just that once I spent the time to email back and forth, and then we were interested enough to meet up, and then I got a babysitter and got ready to go on a date, then showed up at the restaurant only to find out after the first five seconds that I was going to have to spend at least an hour and a half (sometimes more) with someone who I would have had ZERO interest in, had I met them in real life.  I know that some people look at dating as a numbers game but I just got burnt out on it.

god that sucks.

I had a good experience (mostly with OkCupid), but maybe it's because I'm in a big city and there were TONS of users on all the dating sites. I got to be picky, ha.

I've had luck on them so far, but I'm pretty new to the process.  Also, I find dating sites to be very helpful for me because I'm only interested in dating within my religion.  It definitely weeds out those who aren't eligible at first glance!

I thought about getting back into the whole online dating thing again...but I'm just totally unmotivated at this point.  And to be honest, I'm really enjoying my alone time.  I have joined a gym, so who knows, maybe something will come out of that.  And if not, that is okay too, because I have been getting out and about in my new town.  Things will happen when they are meant to happen

That's my general philosophy as well.  I do think that online dating would be easier in a larger, more populated area.  My area is very small.  Plus, I know I shouldn't feel this way, but it's awkward when you run into people you know IRL on there, or someone you know views your profile. That happened to me a lot!

I tried them and found weirdos... The one guy I stated seeing told me his life goal was to play video games and smoke pot... o.O So I deleted all my profiles and ended up stumbling across BF in an online game rofl! I wish you luck and hope you can find someone!!!
