Hey ladies. DH's birthday is Saturday. We are going to Bham to the Museum of Art to see some of Da Vinci's drawings with some friends. I would like for us to go somewhere nice for dinner. It doesn't need to be super fancy and it will need to accommdate a party of 7. Any suggestions?

Re: Places to eat in Bham
One of my all-time favorites is Jim n Nicks - it's a BBQ restaurant, but they have everything. It is all delicious, and I rarely even order barbeque.
The Fish Market is one of the best seafood restaurants there, IMO. It's definitely not fancy at alll though.
There's always Surin! Great Thai!
26 is fun--I have also heard that Ocean is good, but just never been.
Check out www.birminghammenus.com
It is a great website and you can check out restaurants by location and also see their menus/prices!
Thanks. I thought about going out to the Summit, but it seems like we always eat there when we are in town. I was hoping to try something new. I will check out that website.
I love Ocean too, but it's pricey.
Hot & Hot is super awesome too.
Surin is great Thai!
Ditto Firebird's at the Galleria/Patton Creek, as well as Surin, J. Alexander, 26, and Ocean, which are all places that HSV doesn't have. Oh wait, aside from Surin. Also, I LOVE Table and La Paz in Mountain Brook/Crestwood. Table is really cool, but kinda intimate for 7 ppl...
