Hey!
I ended up getting something called an Opera cake from the French Confection in Olney. It was RIDICULOUSLY good. They were so nice there too - they gave me all sorts of samples when I couldn't decide what to order.
I had never heard of it (the cake) before, but my mom loves all things French, and it was a huge hit. There was only two pieces left and my mom and I had it for breakfast the next morning. It's sort of a more cake-y version of tiramisu, coated in chocolate ganache. Delicious.
I definitely recommend them if you are anywhere near there!
