Re: Roll Call!!!
I'm here for a bit. Just finished up dinner, which was spaghetti, garlic bread and green beans. Currently I'm laying on the couch watching The Holiday and begging my arms not to fall off.
E and I tackled the rusty death trap of a dog pin that is in our side yard this afternoon. We were able to take 2 of the four sides down but discovered that for Simon's and our future children's safety we need to leave the sides that line the front of our wooden fence to our front yard and between ours and our neighbors house up. Which is prefect fine by me, it just give us a lot more room for our trash and green waste and recycling bins and more movablitiy in that corner.
Other than that we went to OSH, Costco and the farmer's market and over all just had a great day.
I am here. :-) Watching "Muppet Treasure Island". Lol. I feel like such a kid.
Today was good, I worked out for 2 hours and ran a full 2.3 miles without stopping or slowing down. Now I am just hanging out, putting off homework. Blah.
I am loving the fact that I can post on my iPad without messing with the settings. Yay updates. :-)
I'm here. I went to a baby shower for a girl I met that lives down the road, I met a lot of really nice girls so I'm looking forward to hopefully hanging out with some of them again! We had pork chops, rice and gravy for dinner and then took the dog for a walk. I made baked zucchini fries with dinner too, I'm very happy with the way they came out. Now we're going to watch season 5 of How I Met your Mother, we can't get enough of this show! DH signs into his new job tomorrow so I'm going to miss spending all of this time with him.

I'm here for a little bit, but not too long. I had a busy and productive day: went grocery shopping, cleaned the house, made food and drinks for my girls night this evening, and still managed to spend almost as much time with baby S as usual.
For dinner we had frozen pizza, and then I'll be munching on the bruschetta and other goodies I made for my friends.
Checking in. :-) I'm watching the last few episodes of season 12 L&O SVU on Hulu and enjoying a drink. I'm debating whether to have another drink - I've earned it today. Today was my major work fundraiser. It went really well :-) To celebrate my daugher (lol!) took me out for sushi :-p
Newbie here but thought I'd join in. Hubby and I went up to LA to get my dress for the ball at a boutique I love. I ordered the dress there to be picked up there so I could make sure it was the right size and it was too big, so I ordered it to be delivered to our house in a smaller size than I thought it'd be, which is always nice to see my diet paying off. Hubby is Marines and I never thought I'd wear a red dress even though it looks great with his dress blues because it's a color so many women wear to balls, but I like the dress a lot and who knows if we'll go to next years ball so I figured why not?
After we decided to be touristy and went to La Brea Tar Pits, an Automotive museum with lots of cool cars, and the LA Natural History Museum. There was a spider exhibit that you walked through outside and the spiders were just dangling there, 3 feet above your head, the size of my palm. EW!
After that we came home and hubby went to poker night with some friends on base. He was gonna come home after but didn't realize it was gonna be going on so late so he decided to stay the night. I'm kinda peeved but I'd rather he stay and not drink and drive than come home, plus he's homesick/lonely cuz he doesn't get to hang out with friends often so I'll let him have his fun tonight.
Anyway, looking forward to getting to know everyone here a little better! For an intro, I'm Nicole, 24 years old, married to Chris, also 24. Stationed at Camp Pendleton, hubby is non-deployable with his current job that he will probably be doing until 2014 so we're very fortunate.
