So, driving down to my friend's wedding in Sarasota, I went right past Orlando.  I've never been to Disney or anything there.  I kind of feel like since I'm already here, I should do/see something.  If In had known, I would have planned an extra day off.  As it is, I could stop somewhere on my way back up, but can't stay too long as I need to get home at a reasonable time.  Anyone have a recommendation of something I could do in 2 or 3 hours?    Would that be enough time for Sea World or something?

I haven't been to Sea World since I was little, so I'm not sure how much time you need there. But you could always walk around Dowtown Disney for a while. There is a lot to do/see there.

You could do the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in 2-3 hours if you raced like crazy. (We saw everything but Olivander's by noon the first day we went, but then got to do everything all over again and again). If you go as a single-rider you'd probably get on all the rides with a minimal wait time even. Though all the parks cost a stinking fortune.

If you're a Harry Potter fan at all I totally recommend this!

Boo!  GPS did not take me back through Orlando.    I'm not a HP fan, but downtown Disney probably would have been fun.  Oh well, guess I need to plan an actualy trip to the area sometime.
