Hello! How was your weekend? Are you ready for the week?
QOTD: What is your favorite board game?
My weekend was good, relaxing and I finished a lot of homework. I'm ready for the week, but nervous because I have a presentation to give in French on Tuesday.
And I just found out this morning that my hometown team, The Cardinals, are going to the World Series!! I'm missing home for sure this week
QOTD: I love Clue and Cranium.
Re: Good morning IN!
Go Rangers!
I'm still recovering from a cold and hoping that it is on its way to clearing up now. I have baby L today for 10 hours and fully intend on napping whenever he is napping as long as the housekeeper isn't there.
QOTD: I love Cranium too! and Taboo, Risk, Monopoly, Candy Land
Today we have puppy school. It's my Mum's birthday so my Dad took the day off of work and ya know what? My parents are coming to puppy school with us! This afternoon E and I are getting groceries. We seriously need to, poor DH is out of a lot of food. I just didn't feel up to going the past three days!
QOTD: Cranium here too!! We used to play at Collage, my friends's place was one of the few "legal" places to drink on campus (we had a dry campus when I was there) so we'd make strange drinks and play Cranium oh what fun we had!
Hey everyone! I'm back! Not ready for work... our dog is giving us the silent treatment for leaving her and is all traumatized and didn't want us to leave for work, so I really wish we could have stayed home for an extra day to unpack and hang out with her. But otherwise I'm happy to not be living out of a suitcase anymore and getting back to "real" life.
QOTD: Monopoly and Mall Madness as a kid. Now probably something more like Pictionary or Trivial Pursuit (neither of which is quite a board game). Settlers of Catan is good, but I get way too competitive.
Morning! The weekend was unfortunately not at all relaxing, and the next one will be worse, so no rest for the weary around here.
QOTD: Trivial Pursuit. Growing up we had a version from 1981, and we still love to pulll it out, even though a lot of sports questions (e.g. who holds the world record in____?) are obsolete. The geography ones can tax the brain, too!
This weekend was lovely. DH and I went for a long hike on Saturday and the weather was fantastic. And we even ordered in pizza. Yesterday we enjoyed football with one of DH's friends. Great weekend.
This week, I only work three days and we are off to Israel/Jordan on Thursday. So excited!
QOTD: Monopoly, Cranium and Clue.... I like board games.
Good morning!
The weekend was not too bad. Went shopping and blew a good bit of my first month's paycheck on fun stuff at the office supply store. I cast my ballot for Louisiana's gubenatorial election (after an hour and a half long Skype chat to go over the Constitutional Amendments on the ballot) and otherwise just relaxed.
I'm never ready for Monday mornings, but this one was good as the girl who knows everything at work was back from vacation and I could just transfer calls to her rather than stumble about myself trying to find the answers and messing things up -- legal systems should be the same the world over.
QOTD: Clue is one of my favorites. I also like one we played as a kid called 221B Baker Street, which is a mystery game centered around helping Sherlock Holmes unravel mysteries. It was very cool.
Morning ladies! I'm having a hard time falling asleep. Luckily tomorrow "today" is my resting day so I have time to catch up on sleep. DH had me going out all weekend since it was our old college's homecoming. I'm still nursing my cold from last week too.
Ktkl's team won over my hometown team to make it into the World Series. Guess I'll be cheering for the Rangers now. Once a Texan always a Texan.
QOTD: I really love Life and Sorry. Trival Pursuit is my favorite too but I can never get someone to play against me.

Good morning! Had a great weekend. We had the Spanish wedding on Saturday and it was great. DH's sister and her friends gave us a night at the Hotel Carlton in Bilbao as a gift, so we had a nice relaxing night/day after. Unfortunately, it's back to work today even though after a month and 17 days, I STILL HAVEN'T BEEN PAID. (Come on, Spain. This is what I get for trusting you!)
QOTD: Cranium. Many great memories from university
Hi - Great weekend. I meant to get stuff for my elf, but I won't be able to send anything until tomorrow. I apologize in advance.
QOTD: I love Settlers of Catan and most games by that manufacturer, I also like Cranium (and that family of games). I love playing board games, but don't get a chance to often anymore.
My weekend was good aside from the hospital stay. We took the dogs to socialize at an offleash dog park and then went to see a movie last night.
QOTD: Trivial Pursuit! So much of my childhood was spent playing this with my family. Some great memories with it.
Weekend was good enough, though my H was ill and my MIL is recovering from a full knee replacement, so didn't do too much.
QOTD: Pictionary is probably my fav, followed by Cranium.
Good morning! I had an awesome weekend! We went to Singapore and just explored and chilled out. Really nice to get away for a few days.
I should have a fairly low key week this week. H has a surprise day off because the Indian government declared today a holiday so that people could go vote. So weird that they do surprise days off. This morning I worked out and now I'm just working for the rest of the day.
QOTD: I love Scrabble, but hardly anyone except for my mom ever wants to play with me. Of games that I actually get to play, H and I play a lot of Yahtzee.

Good morn, all. Didn't do much this weekend, as we were in Sicily last week. DBF is back at his old job in Oslo today, which he loathes. Only until Christmas, though, so he can stay in their good graces and accumulate a lot of money in a short time.
QOTD: I lurve Apples to Apples! That's a board game, right?
Morning! We had a lovely weekend. Met some friends on Sat. for a cake tasting (super yum) and then went for a nice walk with the kiddies in the strollers. Sunday a friend and I went to the petting zoo/wildlife zoo near our house and saw Nadja Auermann. I would never have guessed that she was a supermodel with Heidi Klum, but then again I only saw her sitting down, so those super long legs weren?t obvious.
QOTD: Cranium!!!
Morning!
M is sick, so I kept him home from school today. There is no school tomorrow or Wednesday, I think it's going to be a long week. Went to a party/bbq Saturday, so much fun.
QOTD: Risk and Monopoly
Say what?? Are you working at a public or private school? How long are you going to keep working for?
Morning! My weekend was really good. Friday we went out to dinner with some friends, and then caught a movie "The Change Up" It was pretty good - made me LOL a few times, but that could have been the wine at dinner too ;-) Saturday we went to an interesting party called a Stone Soup Party. The hosts provided the chicken stock and pot, all the guests brought ingredients for the soup. It worked out really well actually and we enjoyed a bon fire and hanging out outside in the beautiful fall weather. Sunday we slept in till 12pm, caught "Cowboys and Aliens" at 3pm and then I did some hardcore cleaning. I love starting Monday off with a clean apartment!
I'm never ready for Monday though, and we overslept - got out of bed at 8:19am when we have to be at work at 8:30am!!! A little bit of a rushed morning...
QOTD: I love Life, Clue, Sorry, and Apples to Apples! Also Uno is good one too
