Happy Monday! What are you looking forward to this week?

I've decided that I need a bit of an attitude adjustment on Monday mornings.... and voila!  I opened FB and saw a bunch of really positive, happy Monday morning posts from some of my favorite people... and it made me instantly less hateful of this morning.

So give me some more positivity - what great things do you have to look forward to this week?

Re: Happy Monday! What are you looking forward to this week?

  • Oops... meant to post mine...

I'm looking forward to Friday!  (As usual)  I've got an appt with Samantha at Hugo to get rid of these awful roots and am thinking of going a little streakier/darker for the fall... and DH should be home from Hong Kong by the time I get home.

Then I'm dragging his jet lagged arse out of bed on Saturday night to do something haunted, probably Markoff's or Field of Screams.

    I loooooove the fall Devil

  • Next weekend we're headed out to go wine tasting with a groupon and enjoy the fall colors.

I'm looking forward to just being at home this week and weekend since we've been out of town a lot lately.

  • I heart Samantha.

One of my BFFs is coming into DC for work today, and she will be staying with us, so she gets to meet my little man, and see our house (which we moved in to in 2009).

After C goes to bed, we are going to go out for a late dinner in Silver Spring.  I was thinking either Jackies or Ceviche.  Any other ideas?

  • I have nothing planned for the evenings this week and am looking forward to relaxing a bit.  I did way too much running around last week.  Also, DH will be out of town this weekend, and I am looking forward to having the house to myself - not that I won't miss him while I am gone, but sometimes it's just nice to be lazy and watch bad TV.

Hm - double check Ceviche - for some reason I think that they closed.  I do love Jackie's - and Sidebar is fun for a cocktail or two....

We had a yummy dinner at Olazzo a couple of weeks ago - totally reasonably priced great food in a nice atmosphere.  Their bar is really cute too.

Have fun with your friend!  Good luck with your 12 day stretch!

  • We're headed to NYC this weekend!  One of my best college friends is getting married on LI Friday night, then we'll be spending Saturday night in Manhattan.  I went to grad school there, but DH and I have never gone together so I am looking forward to touring the city with him.

  • I am looking forward to Friday because we are heading up to NYC for the weekend. We're taking the train which will be so peaceful. On Saturday afternoon we are seeing The Book of Mormon and on Sunday we're heading to Jersey to go to the Jets game. I'm very excited!
  • Sephora Friends and Family starts this week, and since I am running out of my makeup this is a must.

I ordered some pieces from West Elm and hopefully they come in this week :-)

Its suppose to be gorgeous outside all week :-) and I am going home to see my parents this weekend so I am looking forward to that :-)

  • I'm loving the fall weather, so I'm looking forward to spending some time outside. Nothing in particular, just going out for some nice morning runs and taking M to the playground in the afternoons.

  • Looking forward to my college roommate's wedding this weekend! It's a gorgeous venue out in the country and should be great for leaf peeping.

Also looking forward to checking some things off my list this week, including finishing touches on my Hawaii pics (see siggy!) so I can finally send them out to friends/family.

-We turned in an application to an apartment we really liked today- fingers crossed we get it!

-Last but most certainly not least- the Cardinals are in the World Series!   Woohoo!

  • I'm psyched for a disruption-free week to focus on work, bookended by what will hopefully be a successful IUI today (6th time's a charm?) and a fun trip to Charlottesville this weekend to see my BF and run a 10K w/Otto.

  • I'm not feeling very upbeat today, so I hope this turns me around :)

Thursday is DD's birthday, so I'm looking forward to that and my parents coming in to celebrate.  (Not as much looking forward to MIL coming in on Friday, but oh well.)  We're having a way too big family and friends of the adults party on Saturday, so I'm looking forward to being at the party - but not so much the prepping for it :P

  • I've got nothing.

I take that back, i'm looking forward to next weekend, when we have nothing planned.

  • - chili in the crockpot tonight

    - taking care of our friend's dog this week. DH is taking him out in the morning because I just don't have the time, but I'll accompany him in the evenings. I haven't had a pet since I was 4, so this is quite fun!

    - zumba

    Good luck dmuppet!

  • I am looking forward to Friday because it's my birthday! Saturday is my dad's b-day too, so H and I will be going to my parents' house in Baltimore for a family celebration.

I'm looking forward to going home this evening because our new curtains from Pottery Barn are arriving and we're going to hang them tonight. Also, I'm making scallops for dinner!

Wednesday I'm heading to the Social Security Office which is only exciting because I'm filing my name change paperwork and then I can start on the rest of it.

I'd also like to get back to working out if we're finished with all this overtime at work. We'll see!

  • Good luck, dmuppet!

I am looking forward to our big u/s at the end of the week. I love seeing the bebe on the big screen.
