anyone good with home deco? i need help with...
window treatments. i have a huge picture window in my family room. the window is in front of my couch and i also have baseboard heaters under all the other windows in the room, so i cant put drapes up. im so bummed. does anyone have the same situation? and if so, what did you do? I think im going to go with romans (again), but this time with a pattern. do you think pattern romans are too much for a picture window?
Re: anyone good with home deco? i need help with...
Is it all one big window pane, or is it sort of divided into different frames? Not sure if that's clear --- basically, would you need to use one big wide roman shade to cover the whole thing, or multiple shades over different sections of it?
If your window is in three or more sections, you could do a pattern shade on the outside sections, and a solid color (the same background color from the other shades) in the middle. That would break up the pattern a little bit so it didn't seem as busy. Maybe also add a valance all the way across in the solid color too to tie all of the windows together.
