What's the mid-October weather like in your area? 

In Detroit it's sunny and 55, and the fall colors are in full effect.  Fall is my favorite season so I'm enjoying it right now!

Haines -- we have about the same weather here (Battle Creek). Mid-50's and sunny. But, it's been super windy so most of the pretty fall colors are now swirling around on the pavement/in yards

Absolutely beautiful today, sunny and almost 70, and cool and crisp at night.  This is the best time of year in Cali!

Haha! I had to do a second glance at where you were from! My first thought was 'wow, is she from Alaska and is it that cold there already?!"

 

Was a great fall day here (MN), mid-50's, partly cloudy and a warm wind. The colors have gone already and about half the leaves are on the ground already. I heard the"s" word (snow) mentioned in the forcast for later this week - nothing to stay but it's far to early to hear the dreaded word.
