Gimp - Anyone use this program?

Re: Gimp - Anyone use this program?

  • Did you google or look on youtube?

Anything in particular you're looking to do?

  • just trying to understand the program as a whole.  Usually I can fumble my way through a program and learn it but I'm not picking it up as well.  Just didn't know if one website was better than the other.

I want Photoshop but do not want to spend the cash for recreational editing.

I'm not sure of its cost, but PhotoShop Elements is good for that, I've heard.  Also, Lightroom (also created by Adobe) is super awesome, cheap and really easy to use.  They just had a 50% off sale last week, but I ordered mine through ebay last year for around $100.  Yes, I took my chances on it being a cracked copy, but so far, so good (and it came with a serial number, so that's always good!).
