The number one reason to stay single: You don't automatically get the cold/sore throat/sickness that your love interest has.

The food/drink you left in your fridge actually stays in your fridge!

I wrote a whole blog post about all of the reasons I love being single today!
#1: only shaving my legs when I want to!
Not feeling bad when I want to buy something for myself. I always felt like I needed to check with him before buying something I wanted, even though he told me I didn't need to do that.
Going to sleep when I want!!! The tv was always so loud when I was trying to sleep! We were on opposite work schedules and I was often in bed when he got home. Then I would wake up to a loud tv, etc.
My number one reason is a clean bathroom that stays relatively clean with little uptake. I've noticed that with a man around, the bathroom gets soooo gross so fast!
But other than that I've noticed it's different with everyone I've ever been with. The BF now doesn't bother me, even though he leaves empty bottles and cans in the living room quite a bit, but then breaks down and cleans them up once every few days..doesn't bother me. My XH? That would make me spit nails. My other XBFs? I would want to punch throats. I don't understand why love makes us turn a blind eye to some things and not to others. It's just an experience we all go through I guess, and I've been really introspective lately.
