What genes do you hope you inherited?
-good teeth (from both sides)
-long life (all four grandparents still alive and going (mostly) strong -- in their 80s, with one in his 90s)
-my mom's and aunt's ability to shrink back to their tiny size after having 2-3 kids. My aunt is 49 and still wears regular 2-piece swim suits to the beach... and looks awesome. Pleaaaaase let me have inherited that!

Re: What genes do you hope you inherited?
I don't know of any other than inheriting the ability to make tough decisions. My birth mother gave me up for adoption because she knew it was the best thing for me--she was very young and unmarried and wanted me to have a better life than she could provide.
I do curse the cellulite and bad feet she (or my birth father) gave me! I hope she had the ability to shrink back to a tiny size after she gave birth (she was 5'3" and 120 lbs before pregnancy).
-Long life (my maternal great grandmother lived to be 107 and my paternal great grandmother is still alive and about to reach 100).
- A white streak - some of my family members got a cool white streak at the front of their hair before they went completely gray.
I inherited a white streak, which I cover up with color since I've been 12, but I've been not coloring my hair because I want to see what it actually looks like 15 years later.
I'd like to inherit my mom's side to never get sick. They're so healthy, hard working people.
Good hair until an old age. My maternal grandmother had thick white hair until the day she died (age 77).
I hope I live longer than my grandparents. They died early. But they were heavy smokers - - hopefully if I live my life smoke-free I can add a few years to life!
- Long life (3 great grandmothers lived to 99+ and one granmother was 94)
- Bounce back ability! My grandmothers both bounced back after bad relationships and so did my mom.
