Hiya ladies!
My goodness its been forever since I've been on the nest, let alone on this board. How is everyone doing?! I can't believe we are all hitting our big 2-year anniversary's already! Ours is officially today, but we had dinner on Saturday night this past weekend to celebrate since neither of us gets home from work or school in a decent time to do anything. I feel so out of touch; I had so many changes happen since May and its been difficult to keep up. I'm going to try and be around more to catch up with everyone.
I guess a quick low-down on us... I quit that horrid job earlier this year in May that I had been at for over 11 years. Even though the hours are longer/later and I took a huge pay cut, its been more than worth it. I LOVE what I do, and don't come home in tears every day. I feel so empowered (even got a promotion less than 3 months into my new job!!) in my new position, and love being able to help people. Its def rewarding. Still trying to figure out how to get my solo biz off the ground; I don't want to be the biggest or best, just want to be able to supplement some of my income that I lost. 
H is still plugging away at school f/t and will officially have to get a job before the end of the year (he was on unemployment since he was laid off), so we will prob not see each other much (not that we do now, hehe!). Tried to sell our house and that didn't happen; were going to refinance but just found out that we have to wait 90 days before we can try that b/c we had the house for sale until 9/30 and its a requirement of most banks around here. Have been back in school here and there and am taking a break again; starting a new job & going to school at the same time was extremely stressful and I'm just trying to settle into things at the new position now.
Oh yeah, and we got a puppy too! We have had him for about 2 & 1/2 months and despite the stressful-ness of him being a puppy, he is sweet and adorable!
