S/O to "get off my lawn" - radio

94.7 got rid of 80s last week. They now have music from the "90s, 2000s and today" and also have a 90s at 9 feature where they do 3 songs. I don't actually like 80s music, but this bothers me because now the music I grew up with is the oldest music on the station. When they did the 90s at 9, I found myself enjoying the music much more than all the stuff that's on right now, getting all nostalgic, and then quickly realizing how old that made me feel. :-/

Re: S/O to "get off my lawn" - radio

  • We mostly listen to satellite radio, but I find it particularly depressing when music I listened to as a kid (U2, Tom Petty) is on the "Classic Rewind" station!  I still feel like that should be reserved for the stuff my parents listened to...
