My 2012 benefits info FINALLY came out today.

Good morning. I am not pleased today. I got a notice from my HOA that we owe money to them. According to them, we were 4 months behind on our payments (i've never been one month behind as far as i know) and that we have received attorney letters about the issue so now we have to cover their fees, etc. i can't figure out what they are talking about since this is the first letter i have received and no one has been helpful at all. but, i think paying it will be less $ than paying the fees to fight it, ugh.

I'd say yes but it would be a pretty unfair fight. . .MIL doesn't move very fast b/c she has a hernia but no health insurance to get it taken care of and FIL appears to be wasting away to nothing b/c all he does it sit in a recliner all.day.long.  He couldn't even walk up the stairs in our house to see the nursery.

I'm sorry your IL's are giving you problems, Allison.

Kat - I hear ya on the family plans. My company did away with "employee + 1" on health benefits, so to cover DH, I know pay the same as a family with children. The jump is huge! At least if we have a kid, that fee won't change though.

I just made the final payment for our cruise in January! YAY! (Boo to the AmEx though). I'm about to book the flights too.
