I am thankful for the humidity we've had this week. Last week was super duper dry and very windy (winds from the desert) - this is a perfect recipe for wildfires. Fortunately a cloud of moisture came on Friday, which should keep everything wet enough for the rest of "fire season" in San Diego.
I'm also thankful that it looks like my Grandma will make it to her 92nd birthday this weekend. We have relatives flying from all over the country/world that booked tickets back in May to come see her. But a few weeks ago, she had a stroke, which induced congestive heart failure, and on top of that was diagnosed with lung cancer. She wasn't supposed to make it this long, but she is still coherent and without pain (because of all of the vicodin). I'm glad that it looks like everyone will be able to see her one last time (please cross your fingers!)

I'm thankful that most of this meeting has been good and more upbeat, but now the Q&A part is a b!tch fest. Now it's over! Yay!

I am thankful for fall-like temps this week so I can start wearing sweaters and boots again.
I am also thankful that DH let me go with him Sunday for work and took me to the outlet mall for a brief shopping trip.

I'm thankful that SD has such a great & caring teacher.

I am so thankful that at least for now I am back at my old tunnel. It is just a much better work environment for me, and I am happier when I am working there.
I'm thankful for the nice weather we've been having. I love going for walks at night and opening the windows in the house. I love the fall!
