update to Thoughts and Prayers.
I saw my doctor again yesterday and I do have a small seroma. Basically what happened to me last time only much much smaller. She did a culture to find out what kind of infection I have, and now I have to pack and dress the small wound daily. The only problem? I cannot see it at all, its at the bottom of my incision, and there is no way that I can lay down and do the wound care by myself. Therefore, DH has been recruited to help, and then I also have a cousin who is a nurse, and she said she would come help me too.
I am a little bummed out, but we think we treated it aggressively enough from the beginning to keep it from getting worse and to start it healing right away.
