Drive Time Question - 290 out to Magnolia
How long would it take to get from West Houston (I-10 & Beltway 8) to Magnolia during rush hour?
My brother is getting married Friday. The rehearsal is Thursday at 5pm and Friday we need to be there by 6pm.
I know 290 can be a nightmare and want to be sure we give ourselves enough time.

Where exactly in Magnolia are you going... there is a slight possibility that you'd want to take 45 to 1488 or some other backroads I could point you to.
To answer your question, in rush hour, I'd probably allow 1hour 15 minutes. I work at Westheimer and BW and live in South Montgomery (just north of the woodlands, east of magnolia) and it takes me 1 hour 15 minutes on average during rush hour.
