Dear Community,

Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.

Thank you.

Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.

This is what we have. (available cheaper off the producer's site obviously).

I like that it fits in my bag - its just an inch thicker and about as long as my (sort of big) wallet - and is affordable enough I don't feel the need to wrap it in foam. The P&S pictures are 1000x better than the ones with my $90 cannon elph. You CAN interchange/buy other lenses, use filters, etc but I am just barely toying with apature, shutter speed, etc as it is, so I haven't considered this at all. I rarely even take photos in RAW (which is better for editing); we use it in JPEG most of the time unless we know we're going to try to edit them (which, um, I haven't done in months and likely will not until we do a christmas shoot with the babies for cards). Basically until I have time (hahahaha) to learn to be a better photographer, this meets my needs for a-little-nicer-but-practical.

Also, there are a variety of pre-set filters that are pretty nice and fun and don't require photoshop skills :)
