outlet mall question

alright ladies...i need your help.

DH and i are planning on driving up to watkinsville friday to go to the corn maze at washington farms (soo pumped!!), and we're thinking about hitting up the outlets ahead of time, since we're doing the night maze.

so...where should we go?? where will i be the happiest little card swiper?

yeah, which outlet mall is the best. it's been ages and ages since i've been to any here, so i'm totally out of the outlet mall loop

N. GA Premium is nice. The last time we were there (maybe last year?), it was pretty sad though. A lot of stores had closed and we left disappointed. I hope it was just bad timing.

what about discover mills? N. GA outlets are 75 miles away from the farm where the corn maze is.

Discover Mills isn't fabulous... Its not bottom of the barrell, its just not awesome.

What about the Commerce GA outlets? They're not THAT far from where you'll be

that might work...part might also depend on whether DH wants to go to some computer part outlet place...i have no clue, sometimes i tune out the geek talk

i'm also trying to find something else to do so i don't feel so silly getting him to drive 2 1/2 hours FOR A CORN MAZE.

Honestly, there isn't any great shopping around there.  If you really want to hit up commerce you can but I haven't found any stellar deals there in a while. 

If I were you I'd go in to Athens, walk around down town, hit up the club house store or the book store for some new gear! 

Or tempt yourself and stop off at Phipps and dream of all the things you'd love to have but can't afford!!

I agree Commerce is okay but not fabulous. I shop there mainly because it's the closest shopping to my house! Do you need me to come meet you and entertain you somewhere?

Commerce is your closest bet for outlet shopping but totally in the opposite direction. I'd just stop in Atlanta somewhere if I were you.

this is not a bad idea at all

and lauren, if you and the hubs have any interest in a nighttime corn maze trip...you could totally meet us!!
