So it's been a year since the big day. Some were trying to lose weight for their wedding. So how does your weight compare now? Gained, lost, or ...
DH does the cooking and usually puts more on my plate than I would. Plus we eat regularly which i did not do when I was single - I skipped meals. So trying to lose has been difficult. I am up 4 to 6 pounds.
Re: Weight ...
I think I am about the same weight. DH eats healthy and cooking meals has been better for our health than what I used to "cook" just for myself. I run just as much as I did before the wedding so I think that has helped. I'm all about a lifestyle change instead of a 2 month "diet" if that makes sense.
I was on a roll with doing arm exercises before the wedding though so I think my arms and shoulders have lost some definition so I need to get that back.

Bleh, I wasn't trying to lose weight after the wedding or anything. But of course a year later and I've put on some pounds. I cut down on how much I eat, as I sit in a chair for 8hrs a day, and I've cut down on sugar and salt. But that still wasn't helping, so I've started a new work-out routine, and I'm jogging more.
Either way I miss my 20 year old body. It was nice while I had it.
I'm about the same as I was when we got married give or take a few pounds either way. If I watch what I eat for a few weeks I get a few pounds below my 'wedding weight' and if I eat too much junk for a few weeks in a row, I'm a few pounds more than I was the day we got married. I'm never the same exact weight all week long, it changes every single day but I still fit into all the same clothes that I did this time last year so I'm pleased.
I start a new diet every few months, lose 20lbs, then gain it back, lose some weight, then gain it back blah blah blah. Of course I'd love to be smaller, but I think I'm pretty much supposed to be a fatty lol.
I'm sure I take the cake on this one...quite literally :-P
I lost 20 lbs before the wedding and then gained it back within about 6 months during our "honeymoon" period and now I'm up another 20 lbs with this pregnancy. So, 40 lbs from this time last year! :-0 Once BB is here, it is back to reality (and to the gym!)
Hope that makes some of you feel better
