XP: Bacchanalia costume help!
I'm going on a costumed wine tour with the theme as Bacchanalia. I'm not sure how to dress up, though! The host is known for really dressing up for the part, so I don't want to disappoint! I'm PG (but I won't be showing then), so if there's anything I can do for that (since Bacchus is also the god of fertility), I'd love to do something.
For reference, here's what was on the evite:
Bacchus the Roman adaptation on Dionysus the God of
Wine and Merriment. He is also the Liberator whose wine, music and
ecstatic dance frees his followers from self-conscious fear and care,
and subverts the oppressive restraints of the powerful. Those who
partake in his mysteries are possessed.
