Hi! I'm a Dfw/Houston nestie that is in town for work with my mom and infant daughter. :-). We are staying near downtown and looking for a nice restaurant... Not like super elite dressy uppy nice but really good food nice. :-). We have a car and would love and so appreciate a recommendation.

since you're downtown i totally recommend the arrogant butcher. link.
they have great food and are in cityscape - you could walk around there before/after.
also, their patio has a/c so outdoor dining is always an option!
